When do new running shoes get released? The answer is simple: 12 months a year! That’s why we’ve compiled a comprehensive calendar of upcoming running shoe releases. Whether you’re a fan of industry giants or want to explore emerging brands, our guide keeps you informed about the hottest new kicks hitting the market. But we won’t stop there—once these shoes hit the pavement, we’ll put them through their paces with thorough reviews, giving you all the information you need to make an informed decision.

If we’ve had a chance to review the shoe already, it will be linked below to a full article. Since we know we can’t get to every single shoe, we’ll also link to trusted resources for their reviews!
Our Focus on Everyday Runners
Our team of testers focuses on the middle-of-the-pack runner, providing insights on how a shoe really feels at a more typical pace. While we do have speedy testers for those cutting-edge, carbon-plated race shoes, our emphasis remains on the everyday runner. This approach ensures that our reviews resonate with the majority of runners looking for performance without sacrificing comfort.
Release Patterns and What to Expect
Running shoes tend to be released on a pretty regular schedule—either every 12 months or every 24 months. However, brands love to keep us guessing with surprise drops and new models. That’s why we’ve listed the month and year for upcoming new shoes. This calendar gives you a roadmap to plan your future purchases!
And let’s face it—running shoes aren’t cheap. We aim to help you maximize your hard-earned cash by providing insights on whether the new model is a worthwhile upgrade or if you should save your dinero by picking up a discounted older model. Getting value out of your running gear is essential to enjoying your runs!
Running Shoe Release Dates Calendar
The following release dates are organized by brand rather than by date, making it easier for you to find the shoe you’re looking for. If we have reviewed a previous model of the shoe, we’ll link it until the new one is available for review. We often review shoes up to a month before they hit the market.
Anything linked here will take you to a review done by our team.

Oh yes, they are doing a big revamp!
These dates have been compiled from meetings with brands at the annual TRE (The Running Event), held in San Antonio this December, along with input from our brand contacts and press partners. Our team will also be providing shoe previews in the coming months for 2025 to 2026 releases, so you will always be in the loop.
There are numerous new running brands entering the scene, and based on requests, we may begin to add more of them to our review schedule later this year and next. If there’s a particular shoe you’re dying to hear about, let us know!
